The Conwy Affray: a 16th century riot!

The Conwy Borough Historical Association branch is hosting a talk about an talk by Alan Smith.

It may be of interest to those who want to find out more about the history of our fabulous town.

Alan will join us to discuss a most violent disturbance in Conwy around 1516. From a collection of contemporary sources, he’ll share fascinating accounts of accusations, denials, and counter-attacks amongst those involved. Join us to learn about how this historical event affected a small, local community.
